Mobile Expense Mileage Tracking

A mobile feature for employees to track their location and generate mileage expenses for business travel reimbursement.

Our expense management tool is used by employees to record business expenses of all sorts for reporting and reimbursement purposes. This project was an exploration around how we might make it easier for users to use our existing mobile app and their mobile device's GPS to calculate miles driven. Mileage expenses account for over half of all the different expenses being recorded, so it makes sense to reduce pain points around mileage entry/calculation and to close a competitive gap.

• I was the sole product designer on the Expense team exploring a first iteration of mobile mileage tracking in an existing app.
• Designs were coordinated to follow new mobile standards being introduced throughout the mobile app by other product teams working on their respective product modules within the app.
• Final designs created in Figma.
